Nancy Malchak

Nancy Malchak has over 30 years of coaching experience and has been with Retriever Aquatic Club since it was founded in 1986. Nancy specializes in working with our younger developmental swimmers and is one of the best in teaching the basic fundamentals in swimming. Her patience and unique understanding of younger athletes is one of her best attributes. She has laid the foundation for the success of most of RAC's older athletes. Coach Malchak is an ASCA level 2 coach.
All three of Nancy's children were founding members of RAC and enjoyed long and successful swimming careers. Her son, Michael, was an Olympic Trial qualifier and is a school record holder at University of Maryland, College Park. Both Megan and Marci, Nancy's daughters, swam for UMBC and played a vital role for the success of the team. Coach Nancy's experience as both a coach and swimming parent are invaluable to RAC.
She enjoys spending her free time visiting her children and grandchildren.
